David Bennett

David is a consultant with EisnerAmper Cayman Islands, bringing over 30 years of experience in insolvency, restructuring, and corporate finance. He has extensive expertise in managing cross-border engagements and serving as an independent director.

Before joining EisnerAmper Cayman, David held roles across the UK, Hong Kong, and the BVI. In 2014, he launched and led a global insolvency firm’s restructuring practice in Hong Kong, working on major cases such as Pacific Andes/China Fishery, China Huishan, and Noble Group. From 2021 to 2023, David headed the BVI restructuring and insolvency team at a global insolvency firm, leading projects across the Caribbean, Asia, and the UK.

In the Cayman Islands, David has been appointed to several high-profile cases, including the liquidations of Centaur Litigation Limited, China Branding Group, Bona Films Limited, and Green Dynasty Limited. David is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a JIEB-qualified insolvency practitioner. He has extensive experience with complex, multi-jurisdictional matters and has been appointed by courts in the UK, Hong Kong, and BVI. He holds a business degree and has served on the board of the Restructuring and Insolvency Faculty at the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
