Ben Leung is the Managing Partner of EisnerAmper Cayman with approximately 30 years of accounting and auditing experience. He has specialized in the audits of investment funds (hedge and private) and captive insurance companies for approximately twenty-five years.
Ben is a Director at EisnerAmper Governance Services and provides fiduciary services to financial service entities predominantly investment funds. He is a member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association and is registered as a Director with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) pursuant to the Directors Registration and Licensing Law. He also serves as a Director of EisnerAmper Advisory which offers a full suite of restructuring and insolvency services to Cayman incorporated entities, fund managers and governance professionals and serves on the Board of Directors for EisnerAmper Global.
Ben graduated from the University of Birmingham, UK in 1995 with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Council member (initially elected in 2011 and served continuously since) of Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA). He has extensive experience of US GAAP and IFRS.
Ben was recognized as the CIIPA Outstanding Member for 2019. He has been a speaker at professional programs and is the Chair of the CIIPA Training Committee (since 2013), which provides continuing professional development to enable CIIPA members learn and develop. He is/has been the audit engagement partner for the following charities/not-for-profits: Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce; National Council of Voluntary Organizations in the Cayman Islands (NVCO); Cayman Islands Red Cross; Cayman Finance.
Ben is the Money Laundering Reporting Officer for EisnerAmper Cayman.
